How To: Roasted Balsamic Brussel Sprouts

  • 1 lb of Brussel Sprouts
  • 2-3 TBS Olive Oil
  • 2-3 TBS Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1-2 TBS Honey
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste


Pre-heat the oven to 400F/ 200C.

Cut a bit of the stem off of each of the sprouts, rinse in cold water, then remove the tough outer leaves, placing prepared sprouts into a shallow baking dish that is large enough for the entire batch of brussel sprouts to lay in a single layer.

Drizzle the olive oil, balsamic vinegar and honey over the brussel sprouts then toss with a spoon until all the brussel sprouts are evenly coated. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste.

Roast or 20-30 minutes until the brussel sprouts begin to caramelize and can be easily pierced with the tip of a sharp knife.

If desired, whisk together an additional tablespoon of each the balsamic vinegar and honey and drizzle just a little bit more over the hot brussel sprouts just before serving.

Enjoy piping hot, alongside your favorite roast!
