Growing up, there was nothing more important to Michael Pollan and his three sisters than their family dinners. The daily ritual sparked the author’s interest in food, eventually leading to his hit books, The Omnivore’s Dilemma and In Defense of Food. Now it’s his siblings’ turn, but in their case, the three Pollan sisters, Lori, Dana, and Tracy, together with their mother,Corky, have teamed up to write a cookbook, The Pollan Family Table, which gathers many of the family meals they now prepare for their own children, including personal recipes (Pollan Signature Salad, Grandma Mary’s Grand Marnier Orange Cake) as well as simple staples (Easy Chicken Parmesan with Fresh Mozzarella and Creamy Spinach Pasta Alfredo). Here, the Pollan women share their recipe for Supreme Crispy Quinoa Vegetable Burgers exclusively with Vogue.com.
